Essential to the Bais Yaakov chinuch experience is chessed: giving. Students are required to complete community service as a means to help them develop a keen awareness of wider community needs and to see themselves as part of its solution. Chessed is student-led with designated staff advisory, and the school has developed a culture of giving. Students are sensitive to each otherís needs and to communal needs as well. This, according to Rabbi Levin, is the key goal of the program: to ensure that our graduates feel a sense of responsibility to Klal Yisroel.
